I am a South African born photographer based in Den Haag - The Netherlands. I shoot weddings, portraiture and places for both commercial and editorial clients. I get off on telling stories, creating narratives and capturing moments.

My work as a photographer has encompassed a wide variety of photographic subjects. Apart from the weddings shot both in The Netherlands and South Africa, I have shot food and product for international brands, fashion and portraits for brands and editorial features, architectural images for architects and developers, documentary assignments for NGO’s.
Why do I shoot commercial jobs and weddings? Basically, my life’s journey has dictated what I shoot. I have spent time in big cities where I shot for commercial and editorial clients but also lived in remote patches of paradise where I shot primarily for people in love.
My mission is to capture real moments as they happen when shooting reportage or to create moments with narrative, emotion and depth when working with commercial and editorial clients. That said, I constantly work with finding the background, depth, focus, light or composition that frames a story in a beautiful, creative and possibly unexpected way. My work is honest, but always creative and original.
On a personal level…. I am bearded. I love the colour yellow best. I am super fun loving, gregarious and just about the most "people person" I know :)
