Scheveningen

Shot on the Pier and promenade at Scheveningen in The Hague. 

These images form part of an ongoing series of minimal street or urban landscapes shot at Scheveningen. My aesthetic for this series follows the general visual theme of my landscape and urban work - distillation. I try to cut out the clutter; to find the emotional trigger that a scene makes me feel. In this way of shooting landscapes, they become very much not a depiction of a physical reality, but rather a snapshot of a feeling that I am in the moment with.

The prints are available as limited edition (of 5) prints. Each print is hand numbered and signed, and printed to museum quality at approximately 105 by 70cm on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag with a 5cm white border.
